People need to remember that whenever government seek to limit the free speech, it is always because they want to cover up something, something that is so grievous that can land many senior government officials in jail, for a long time.

It is pointless to guess what they want to cover up this time. Being an official or politician in Australia is a low rewarding job, this circle is perverted and corrupt, no decent people want to be part of it, unless you need to cover for someone or yourself, or addicted to something, that you don't have a choice but to cling onto this power.

To some aspect, Australian ruling system is beyond repair. Everyone working there is just going through the motions at his job: not really trying, just slacking off. Whenever you ask for their help, they may think, "mate we can't even sort out the pedophile rings within the government, why should I bother help you out on your issues?" - a horrific indifference due to his exposure to the ugly reality, assuming he is still "clean". This is already the best speculation upon those people in power. Don't forget, they can't be in those positions unless they are active members of the criminal gangs of all kinds.

Except, they live in constant fears of being exposed. They used all opportunities available to silence dissent and punish whistle blowers. Julian Assange, who provided a platform for whistle blowing, lost so many years of freedom, not because he had broken some laws, but because the perpetrators of all kinds, are in enormous fear that their corrupt dealings could also be exposed, so they make an example of him. Even if those laws didn't exist, they will find other means to torment Assange. And not really because he exposed American military secrets either, but because there are even more hideous under wraps they wanted to keep from public eyes, and they make sure other whistle blowers are too scared to speak up. Assange will not achieve a thing, if all other whistle blowers were dealt with.

It is all those fears driving the hopeless actions of the corrupt government, not anger, "control freak" nor anything like those. Their tactics won't be effective for long, but it doesn't mean we can sit back and wait: we cannot let the brave and decent pioneers, who fight for us the people, to fall and let the weight of the whole world fall on their shoulders. Something must be done.

Firstly, we need to let the "perpetrators in power" understand that they will suffer greater consequences than the original atrocities they have committed against Australian people, if they seek to jeopardize the free speech to cover things up. They must be subject to the difficulties that is at least one magnitude greater than those of Mr. Assange, proven they have these evil intentions, or being reckless about the fact that curtailing free speech can assist the evil. They must undergo this punishment, and become the example to other "perpetrators in power".

Secondly, we must offer a way out, even for the most depraved monsters that is currently in power, such as allowing them a safe passage to a country with no extradition treaties with Australia, so they can just leave the country, and no longer incur damage to the people of Australia, both to their original victims, and to those brave who dare put up a fight. I had always been telling people, war is always won by the most desperate side, but not always the right side. We shall never put our enemies in a desperate situation.

Australia is a country not for fainted heart, nor is it a country for those without rationality. To win this war, we must understand our enemies and what they want. Now we have reached a point that all they are asking for is safety, they no longer dream about continuing to commit those atrocities anymore. We can, give them some limited safety, in exchange that they leave this country, so we will not suffer unnecessary casualties on our side.
